Our Vision
Re-imagine children as competent
thinkers and problem solvers!
We provide high-quality engaging professional learning and family engagement that teaches adults to “see and support” science as it unfolds in their classrooms, homes, and neighborhoods.
Our approach is flexible and aims to be contextually, culturally, and locally relevant to teachers, families and children.
As a result, children are provided opportunities and encouragement to engage in 21st century thinking skills setting them on a strong foundation for life-long learning.
ESI Tool Kit
Below you will find samples of some of our tools to support educators and families.
ESI PROFESSIONAL LEARNING
Our professional learning sessions engage teachers in the principles of ESI: be curious, be flexible, be collaborative and be intentional. Through hands-on, minds-on experiences, participants will explore aspects of the Early Science framework, consider how they can transfer this knowledge into the classroom and identify ways to engage families. Whether in person or virtually, ESI professional learning sessions will keep you actively involved and help you to push your thinking further.

ESI RESOURCES
ESI Resources reinforce content in each of our modules as you build knowledge. They offer examples of how to see science in various contexts and provide experiences that you may use with children to help you transfer this knowledge into practice. There are also examples of ways to engage families along with reference sheets you may print and send home.
