Science Club
Science Club is an exclusive teacher Community of Practice (CoP) where teachers from all over the country get to see how science is implemented in other classrooms. Experiences and conversations are provoked through unique materials mailed directly to you, along with resource cards that inspire ways to excite children and engage families in culturally and contextually relevant ways.
What to expect...
Enrollment in the Early Science Initiative's Science Club provides multiple ways to build your lens for science and engage with other early childhood teachers throughout the school year. This includes:

Access to an introductory webinar that will:

provide details as to what to expect throughout the year.

introduce you to the Early Science Framework which we will use to guide our development of hands-on, minds-on experiences.

Shipment of 6 provocations directly to you to engage children in wonderment and explore various scientific crosscutting concepts.

Unique ESI resource cards to inspire ways to invite children to investigate as well as engage families.

Invitation to 6 CoPs where you will be able to directly share with other early childhood teachers how you have surfaced science in your classroom, learn from other's experience and engage in activities together to further build your lens of science.

Access to our private Facebook group where between CoPs the sharing, reflecting and learning can continue.

Opportunity to earn up 10 professional development clock hours.
